GATE VALVE

A gate valve is a type of valve used to control the flow of liquids and gases. It operates by lifting or lowering a solid barrier (the "gate") to either allow full flow or stop it completely. Unlike other valves, gate valves are primarily designed for on/off control rather than flow regulation.
